This material has been "thermotransformed" aka Torriefed or Roasted! Adding this extra kiln drying process changes the wood to a rich dark brown - all the way through!
In this box you will find a random selection of small pieces of 5/4 Roasted Ash, 8/4 Roasted Maple, and 8/4 Roasted Vertical Grain Fir ranging from 4-1/2" - 6" wide and 11" - 12" long. There will be approximately 30 pounds of material to work with in a 12" H x 12" W x 12" L Box.
