KJP Select Hardwoods was established in 2006 with founders Bernie & Cathy Behne. It all began with a few skids of wood serving customers by word of mouth. Facebook and Instagram didn't even exist yet. Can you believe that? 

Fast forward 12 years, and KJP switched over into the proud hands of Matt Arnold. Matt took his knowledge, expertise, and experience and expanded the business to serve woodworkers all around the world. We are proud to ship worldwide daily! Over the last 5 years, our team grew from a small handful of employees to closing in on 20 loyal and hardworking employees! 

Everyone here at KJP Select Hardwoods has been working tirelessly over the last year to renovate and expand our retail location. No address change, but the expansion has doubled our previous space therefore providing customers with a much more enjoyable shopping experience. Brighter lighting, wider aisles, new product lines, more workshops, and more parking spots just to name a few things. Another notable change is a substantial increase in shop capacity allowing the space and staff to take on more custom woodworking projects. You will also be inspired walking through our new ‘inspiration room’ showcasing a variety of tabletops and floating shelf options.
