Team Building Workshops
Join us for a team building workshop here in Ottawa!
With our fully equipped woodworking classroom, we are now able to offer team building workshops here in Ottawa. Workshops can be coordinated around your schedule with weekday and weekend availability. Our facility can host woodworking workshops up to 12 people, instructing a variety of topics such as charcuterie boards, bandsaw boxes, chess boards, river tables & more.
The classroom is located in a private section of our store, so your team can concentrate on their project while socializing with their colleagues.
All tools and materials are included. Students leave with a completed project. Refreshments and lunch are also often provided.

2-3 Hour Workshops
Make a Live Edge Coat Rack
2 hour workshop, up to 8 people.You will leave this class having completed your very own live edge coat rack. Refreshments and light snacks included.
Make a Charcuterie Board
2 hour workshop, up to 6 peopleYou will leave this class with a finished charcuterie board ready for immediate use! Refreshments and light snacks included.
Cutting Board Workshop
3 hour workshop, up to 8 peopleLearn to make your very own cutting board! Refreshments and light snacks included.
Half Day Workshops
Bandsaw Box Workshop
6 hour workshop, up to 6 people.Learn to build a seamless box from a single block of wood! Lunch and refreshments included.
Make two Picture Frames
6 hour workshop, up to 6 people.You will leave this class with two finished picture frames, one at 8" x 10" wall mounted and another 4" x 6" standing one ready for immediate use! Lunch and refreshments included.
Make a Charcuterie Board
4 hour workshop, up to 6 peopleYou will leave this class with a finished charcuterie board ready for immediate use! Lunch and refreshments included.

Full Day Workshops
Coffee Table Workshop
7 hour workshop, up to 5 peopleJoin us to build your very own live edge coffee table. You will leave the class with a completed table and have a choice from 3 styles of powder coated black metal legs. Students are welcome to participate with a partner. Lunch and refreshments included.
Epoxy River Table Workshop
6 hour workshop on 2 days, up to 5 peopleLearn to make your very own epoxy river table! Students are welcome to bring along a partner. Lunch and refreshments included.

Do you require participants to have prior woodworking experience?
Absolutely not! All of our workshops are intended for beginner woodworkers.
Can I extend the workshop time to include additional corporate activities or discussion?
Generally speaking we can make this happen. Please inquire on your specific date and times.
Can I pick my own project for the team building workshop?
If you're not seeing something of interest but you want to attend a team building workshop here at KJP, we can often accomodate new woodworking topics. Please email us with your suggestions and we will try our best to make it happen.
What should each participant bring for their workshop?
A water bottle is recommended. Please wear clothing that you don’t mind getting dirty/stained.
Do we offer evening classes?
At this point in time, we only offer weekday and weekend workshops
