He decided to combine his background skills of drafting and woodworking to pursue Marquetry. Richard is presently a member of Arts Network Ottawa, Manotick Art Association and Navan Fine Arts. Join Richard Charlebois and make your very own picture using only wood! This well organized class will take beginners through both theory and actual work on your own piece. The class will cover project design & structure analysis, materials, tools and safety, cutting techniques, gluing and clamping, sand shading & repairing, framing an art piece, and much more.

Students will make their own piece from a choice of two designs and leave not only with a completed piece, but also a full binder of all the information, concepts and theory discussed in the class.

All tools and materials will be provided.

Richard will be in store on Sunday, March 8th from 1:00-3:30pm doing a demonstration for anyone interested learning more.
