A seamless box from a single block of wood!
This is an intersting project that can be done with a single block of wood and a bandsaw. A fully equipped shop is not needed to make these beautiful boxes. It cannot be simpler and enables you to create a very unique keepsake box with minimal planning, measuring and machining. Basically, you saw a chunk of wood, take some parts away, glue the remaining pieces back together. You end up with a beautiful box where the grain matches all around and the pieces fit perfectly. Beware, once you have done one, it will be addictive.
All tools and materials will be provided.
All skill levels are welcome, but this class will move at a pace comfortable for a beginner making their first bandsaw box.
Students will receive 20% off any purchases they make on the day of the workshop. Festool, Woodpeckers, and plywood excluded.
An assortment of sandwiches will be provided for lunch.
