Festool tools available in Canada
To that end, we’re going to take a look at two of the things we love about Festool products - their high quality, and the excellent warranty that comes with every Festool purchase. From there, we’ll take a brief look at some of our favourite Festool products

Let’s get started!

Festool creates high-quality products

All of Festool’s products are made in Europe and the United States. We can’t overemphasize how rare that is for toolmakers. Most toolmakers outsource their labour to places where the labour standards are not quite as high as the standards in Europe and the USA.

Those other companies can offer less expensive tools. Unfortunately, the quality suffers, as does the longevity of the tools.

When you get a Festool product, you can expect it to last for years to come. You can also expect better performance than you would find in tools that cost less - we’ll talk more about why later.

So yes, Festool products are expensive, but they are worth the expense. If you’re just starting to do woodwork, we’d recommend going for a less expensive product if you’re looking to lower your upfront costs.

But for seasoned woodworkers who want long-lasting, high-precision tools? Festool is the name to look for.

Festool products have an excellent warranty

Festool stands behind their products. They offer a 1-year warranty on all of their tools - but if you register those tools online, they offer an additional 2-year warranty. That’s why we highly encourage all of our customers to register their Festool products.

They also offer a 2-day repair turnaround time, which is basically unprecedented in the industry. This turnaround time is a bit slower right now because of the pandemic, but we anticipate it will be back to normal once things calm down. Beyond that, they offer top-notch customer service. This dedication to customer care is one of the many reasons we’re proud to offer their products.

The company also has an excellent policy regarding spare parts. Some companies do everything they can to make it difficult for you to repair their tools. With Festool, you get a 10-Year Spare Parts Availability Guarantee. Spare parts will be available for your tool for at least 10 years after Festool discontinues the tool. If they aren’t, you get a new tool completely free of charge.

Some of our favourite Festool products

Festool has incredible sanders. You can do everything with them, from coarse sanding to polishing, and all of the dust is sucked through the pad to the rear port. This leads to a better finish and longer lasting pads and abrasives.

Want burn and splinter-free edges? Want a powerful, accurate saw? Festool’s track saws are the way to go. You’ll save time by creating edges clean enough to glue without any further prep work.

Looking to keep the air around you clean and breathable? Festool has an excellent line of dust extractors. Whether you’re working in a commercial shop or in your garage, they’ll have a dust extractor that’s sized properly for your needs.

These are just a few of the many Festool products we have in stock. We could spend all day talking about them. If you’re interested in a particular Festool tool, give us a call or send us an email - we'll be more than happy to give you our thoughts.
