What is a soft-close drawer slide?
To prevent the sound of the drawer clicking upon closing, a special mechanism is used that slows down the final few inches of the closing process. This eliminates the sound as well as protects the contents of the drawer from moving around. This design is helpful in the longevity of the cabinet.
