Shipping policy

Canadian Orders:

Orders are typically processed and shipped within 1 - 5 business days of receipt.

For a limited time, online parcel orders over $250 CAD (before taxes) qualify for free shipping. Orders that do not qualify for free shipping will be charged according to the applicable carrier rates shown at checkout.

Free Shipping Conditions:

Free shipping applies to qualifying online parcel orders only and excludes:

  • Orders shipping to Newfoundland and Labrador, Yukon, Northwest Territories, and Nunavut
  • Oversized or overweight items (over 40 lbs), which will incur additional shipping charges automatically calculated at checkout
  • Large or heavy items requiring local delivery services, such as plywood, lumber, and similar products that must be delivered by a local truck or third-party carrier
  • Custom-made, special-order, or made-to-order items
  • Products that are not eligible for automatic shipping calculations
  • Orders requiring freight, specialized handling, or alternative shipping methods

Additional shipping charges may apply to deliveries in remote areas of Canada. If additional charges are required, a member of our sales team will contact you with a shipping quote for approval before your order is processed.


US & International Orders:

Cross-Border Shipping Made Simple : Any applicable duties, tariffs, and brokerage fees are calculated at checkout, so the price you see is the final amount you'll pay.

Orders are typically processed and prepared for shipment within 1–5 business days of being placed. It is normal for tracking information to remain unchanged for a few days while shipments move through the customs clearance process.

All orders are shipped via FedEx.

If an international shipment is refused, KJP Select Hardwoods reserves the right to refund the order amount less any shipping charges, duties, brokerage fees, payment processing fees, and any other costs incurred in returning the shipment.

Refused or returned international orders are also subject to a 15% restocking fee.

All orders are charged in Canadian dollars (CAD). Exchange rates and any foreign transaction fees are determined and applied by your financial institution.

Important Notice

Once your order has been picked up by the shipping carrier, responsibility for delivery rests with the carrier. If you experience any issues with your shipment, including delays, damage, or lost packages, please contact the carrier directly to initiate a claim or investigation.

Telephone Orders

Telephone orders are not eligible for free shipping. Shipping quotes can be obtained by calling our retail store.

In-store Pick-ups

We are able to accommodate orders, to be picked up in-store, that are placed online or by phone.

Return Policy

You may return most new, unopened items within 30 days of delivery for a full refund (excluding shipping). Returns after 30 days but less than 90 days will incur a 15% restocking charge. No returns after 90 days.

Any products or wood purchased in-store are for store credit only. A credit note will be placed onto the account.

If you wish to return an item, please email info@woodvault.com with your order number and details about the product you would like to return. We will respond within 24-48 business hours with instructions on how to proceed.
