Spiral bits provide a shear cutting edge that leaves a smoother cut than standard router bits. The down cut spiral design provides the best top surface edges, ejecting chips away from the router when routing through material. This design also decreases the tendency to lift thin/small work pieces during CNC routing.
Im new to the CNC world of "woodwork". After using the 3 new Whitesideg bits I just bought from here, I'll say good by to Amana's bits for good long while. My machine has been running almost non-stop using 3 of their bits and I have zero complaints. The greatest thing is that I am getting these cuts from their bits at 1/3 the price from Amana. So my Spektra bits are suposed to be sharp for a lifetime, breaking even one for whatever reason can be expensive. Whiteside? Not so much.
straight and true. First time using Iroko. Outdoor mostly sheltered area. Not Teak but still quite pricey. KJP is a great company to deal with, like a candy store for wood
