Olivewood Project Box

When I received the 26” long box, I couldn’t believe how heavy it was. The box featured 5 large pieces of live edge olive wood (a few were as long as the box), suitable for making a few decent sized jewelry/keepsake boxes. This was followed by several more pieces, enough to make several smaller boxes. And it seemed that every remaining space in the box was filled with smaller pieces, perrrrfect for making jewelry, pendants, pen holders, etc. I thought it was a very generous offering of beautifully grained wood. The folks who packed are obviously experts at Tetris and Brickbreaker ;) Olive wood is mentioned several times in the Bible, so my first project will be to make a donation box for church in order to support the poor. I never received the shipment. On tracking page it's showing return to shiper requested. Tried to call multiple times never got a chance to talk to representative. Very disappointed.

I purchased this wood for my husband for Christmas. We are both delighted with what was received. It was spread all over the table for the first day so we could just admire the beauty and detail of each piece.
