Red Oak Turning Square
We will provide you with a high quality turning blank in the dimensions of your choice. This blank has already been kiln dried and is ready to be "turned" into your next great project! We recommend using Honey Bee's Natural Wood Cream for a long lasting and food safe finish.
We can sometimes accomodate a larger blank than our standard sizes. Please email us for availability and a quote.
Dimensions may vary +/- 1/4" as we often prefer to lightly skip dress the turning blanks to reveal grain & colour. Some blanks may also come with waxed faces and ends.

Heartwood is a light to medium brown, commonly with a reddish cast. Nearly white to light brown sapwood is not always sharply demarcated from the heartwood.
This was supposed to be a 2" square. It looked more like an end cut from something else. It was definitely not square. Also purchased cherry wood but it was bowed width wise. Very disappointed in the workmanship and quality.

The c channels were great. Sadly they were packed with the acrylic crib jig wich broke during shipping
