Assorted Dowel Offcuts Pack

These packs include 15 x 1/2" dowels - graded as an Offcut (under length) or containg a defect (small knot, tapering, crack, etc). They will include multiple species;  Mahogany, Maple, Padauk, Purpleheart, Walnut, and Wenge! Every pack is differrent and will include a mix of these (but maybe not all 6 types). 

These dowels are perfect for your woodworking projects, turning, and crafts.

*Please note these dowels are not sanded and will need some additional work before using in a final project. They are produced on a moulder so often four tiny ridges are present and need to be "knocked back" with some sanding and a little bit of elbow grease!  Please email us before ordering if this is unclear or if you have additional questions.

Not really round.

Not really round. They have a ridge running along the length of the dowel. Not sure why it is there, but it looks like not good enough quality control. The 1/2 and 1 - inch maple dowels have this ridge. I didn't check other woods.
