These Mahogany dowels are perfect for your woodworking, woodturning, and wood craft projects. Choose from three different sizes:

  • 1/2" by 24" long
  • 1" by 24" long
  • 1-1/2" by 24" long

*Please note these dowels are not sanded and will need some additional work before using in a final project. They are produced on a moulder so often four tiny ridges are present and need to be "knocked back" with some sanding and a little bit of elbow grease!  Please email us before ordering if this is unclear or if you have additional questions.

Not really round.

Not really round. They have a ridge running along the length of the dowel. Not sure why it is there, but it looks like not good enough quality control. The 1/2 and 1 - inch maple dowels have this ridge. I didn't check other woods.
