This bit can be used for cutting both a tongue and groove based on how the wood is aligned with the cutting edge. One bit makes both cuts with a tongue width of 9/32". Recommended for a material thickness of 1/2"-13/16".

Great Router Bit Smoot finish and much safer than straight but.

Ordered this after using a flight trim straight bit to make some arms for a chair. The straight bit grabbed the arm and kicked it back. This bit is so much smoother and safer as the cutting action isn’t directed entirely in one direction. Finish is much better too. Final part hardly needs sanding.

Only complaint was having to pay $20 for shipping for such a small package. I only ordered the router bit.
