We will provide you with a high quality turning blank in the dimensions of your choice. This blank has already been kiln dried and is ready to be "turned" into your next great project! We recommend using Honey Bee's Natural Wood Cream for a long lasting and food safe finish.

We can sometimes accomodate a larger blank than our standard sizes. Please email us for availability and a quote.

Dimensions may vary +/- 1/4" as we often prefer to lightly skip dress the turning blanks to reveal grain & colour. Some blanks may also come with waxed faces and ends.

Colour and Workability

Heartwood is a light to medium brown, commonly with a reddish cast. Nearly white to light brown sapwood is not always sharply demarcated from the heartwood.

I have not finished the bowl yet, but just in the sanding stage. So far , everything has gone well. A few little tarots, sanding will take care of that, but look to do more business with you in the future, nice wood.
