We will provide you with a high quality turning blank in the dimensions of your choice. This blank has already been kiln dried and is ready to be "turned" into your next great project! We recommend using Honey Bee's Natural Wood Cream for a long lasting and food safe finish. 

We can sometimes accommodate a larger blank than our standard sizes. Please email us for availability and a quote.

Dimensions may vary +/- 1/4" as we often prefer to lightly skip dress the turning blanks to reveal grain & colour. The 3" & 5" squares will usually come with waxed ends.

Colour and Workability

Heartwood can range from a lighter pale brown to a dark chocolate brown with darker brown streaks. Color can sometimes have a grey, purple, or reddish cast. Sapwood is pale yellow-gray to nearly white.

Just what we were looking for

We needed some quality black walnut to finish a built in and KJP had just what we needed. Even though we didn't need it for a turning project, the turning square was perfect and the quality of the wood impeccable. Will definitely order from them again.
