Meant for heavy loads, this bit is engineered for maximum bit life in high wear applications. Ideal for long production runs in MDF and laminated materials. This flute design creates a compression cut that prevents fraying and splintering. Compression spirals will save you time and money on finishing your projects edges by reducing sanding time.
Great Router Bit Smoot finish and much safer than straight but.
Ordered this after using a flight trim straight bit to make some arms for a chair. The straight bit grabbed the arm and kicked it back. This bit is so much smoother and safer as the cutting action isn’t directed entirely in one direction. Finish is much better too. Final part hardly needs sanding.
Only complaint was having to pay $20 for shipping for such a small package. I only ordered the router bit.
