UDC9213 - Ultimate Trim Combination
The Ultimate Flush Trim Bits for material up to 2-1/8" thick. The "Ultra-Long ULTIMATE" Flush Trim Bit has a compression design to provide the best performance and quality found on our Classic Ultimate Bits on thicker stock. These bits leave a crisp, clean edge on both the top and bottom edge of the work piece, even in difficult wood grains. Having a top and bottom bearing gives you the opportunity of working with either a top or bottom template. For best performance, use the shortest cut length needed for the application.
Ordered this after using a flight trim straight bit to make some arms for a chair. The straight bit grabbed the arm and kicked it back. This bit is so much smoother and safer as the cutting action isn’t directed entirely in one direction. Finish is much better too. Final part hardly needs sanding.
Only complaint was having to pay $20 for shipping for such a small package. I only ordered the router bit.
