Appearance

As the name suggests, Yellowheart lumber has a rich pale to golden yellow colour that only darkens slightly with age.

Workability

Yellowheart wood works well with both hand and power tools though areas of interlocked grain or figure can pose challenges. It can have a moderate dulling effect on tools and has an odour that is an acquired taste.

Uses

Commonly used for accents on furniture, flooring, boatbuilding, and turned objects.
