Strength and Quality of Solid Wood!

While most people think of maple in relation to maple syrup, this species of wood also makes for a stunning statement piece to add to your home. Using the expertise of the Ambrosia beetle to create the distinct pattern seen in this species of maple, these shelves will be sure to draw the eye of anyone in the room. The solid Ambrosia Maple wood is hand-selected by our staff to include beautiful natural character and will spruce up any wall you choose to hang it on. The colour of the wood may darken slightly over time, but it is unlikely to change significantly.

These shelves require the use of a bracket (NOT INCLUDED). As we offer many sizes - they should accommodate most brackets found on the market. Our expert woodworkers can customize the thickness and depth if you have a certain bracket or space you need to fit.

The 6" deep shelf is a singular piece of solid wood while the 8", 10", 12", & 14" shelves will usually be made of a lamination of two pieces of solid wood.  This will help to prevent any major wood movement like cupping occuring. Our team works to ensure the lamination process creates a piece that looks as seamless as possible. We work hard to ensure you have a stable, beautiful shelf in your home to decorate and store whatever you like.

Finish Options

• You can either choose from a raw/unfinished wood which you can sand, stain, and finish yourself - or select the shelf sanded & finished with Osmo Polyx-Oil Clear Satin finish for a rich and well protected look that showcases the natural beauty of the wood.

These shelves are made on demand by our custom shop. Please allow 3-4 weeks for Raw/Unfinished shelves and 5-6 weeks for Sanded/Finished shelves.
