It doesn’t take long to have a lot of money tied up in router bits. Protecting those valuable edges and keeping track of them challenges even the most organized among us. Woodpeckers new RackBit Router Bit Storage System takes a modular approach to router bit storage, allowing your storage solution to grow as your collection of bits grows. The system starts with the molded bit bases, which hold both 1/4" and 1/2" shank router bits. The powder-coated steel rack mounts to your wall, a cabinet or the side of your router table and holds the bit bases neatly and securely, with your router bits in plain sight and within easy reach.
You can take the bit base completely out of the rack when you’re getting ready for a router cut. It will keep your bit upright on your bench while you get your router ready… no nicked-up work surfaces or chipped-up router bits. The unique geometry of the base uses two levels and spring tension to securely grip both 1/4" and 1/2" shanks. You don’t have to guess how many of what size you need, because it takes care of both.
This is my second purchase of the Woodpecker RackBit, which is an excellent product. KJP's price is better than Woodpecker's, website is easy to navigate, and shipping to US was timely.
I fix it to the leg of my Jessem router table. The
T-slot fit exactly with the hole on the Rackbit 27’’
Wow what a poorly thought out piece of junk. Careful or your bits end up on the ground. Why the side exit?
a very nice piece of wood . Cuts nice with slight tear outs. sands well and finishes very nice. will buy again.
straight and true. First time using Iroko. Outdoor mostly sheltered area. Not Teak but still quite pricey. KJP is a great company to deal with, like a candy store for wood
Not impressed with the shipment I received, the 12x12 was not 12x12, off an 1/8 to a 3/16 on both sides and the peices were very warped and not flat
