Engraves and cuts cleanly on my Laser BOLT. Easy and quick cleanup and very happy it is prefinished. Two thumbs up!

TruFlat Maple Plywood - My thoughts

This proved to be an excellent product. I have ordered twice now. The material is extremely consistent and cuts and engraves very well with my Thunder Bolt Plus, and Omtech 150 Watt. Cuts cleanly, no hollow spots or inconsistencies in the MDF core. If I had to note something I wasn’t expecting, it was that the finish on the boards is what I would deem, “plasticized”. It is not what I would consider even a “factory” finish of a real piece of wood. It is more like a formica countertop than real wood. With that said, it has grown on me and it does provide a very durable final finish that looks very nice. I do use masking material, however, it wipes down nicely with a cloth and denatured alcohol to remove any excess paint, or spray dye. Will be trying more in various finishes. Shipping, although expensive in my book is consistent, and fast considering I’m in Maryland and it’s coming from Canada. If you spend a preset amount (I believe about $118 USD) shipping is free, so plan accordingly. Thanks KJP, good stuff!
