Marine Grade Plywood

BS 1088 Marine Grade Plywood

Choose from a variety of thicknesses of our Marine Grade plywood.

Marine Grade plywood is your best option for any projects that will involve high levels of moisture.

In order to be considered “Marine Grade”, the plywood must meet a set of criteria including:

  • Using waterproof glue
  • Free of unfilled voids
  • Proper veneers on both faces

BS 1088: Although a British Standard, it is used by marine plywood manufacturers world wide. The plywood does not have to be of British Manufacture. It is an extensive document which details all characteristics of the plywood. Highlights can be found here.
