Straightforward and easy to use, this cutter makes a small slot into your workpiece for a wide variety of applications. Whiteside offers a selection of sizes in 3-wing and 4-wing configurations. Do not forget your arbor for the slot cutter. Our arbors include a B5 bearing for a 1/2" depth of cut.

Great Router Bit Smoot finish and much safer than straight but.

Ordered this after using a flight trim straight bit to make some arms for a chair. The straight bit grabbed the arm and kicked it back. This bit is so much smoother and safer as the cutting action isn’t directed entirely in one direction. Finish is much better too. Final part hardly needs sanding.

Only complaint was having to pay $20 for shipping for such a small package. I only ordered the router bit.
