The FAMAG router bits of the 12-piece professional sets are characterised by the high quality carbide plates, which are soldered very gentle on the steel body. Low soldering temperatures reduce the hardening distortion considerably and affect the carbide mush less than conventional methods.

The shanks are machine wet cylindrical ground to the exact diamter of 8.0mm and thus have a perfectly concentricity. Only high-quality ball bearings are used.

As a result theser router bits run particularly smoothly and have an exceptional service life. Each router bit is marked and shows how deep it has to be inserted into the collet chuck of your router.

I wish I bought them sooner

I compared against an older basic Forstner, which ended up straight in the bin. The Famags are worth the price.

The best I’ve used

I use these Bormax Forstners on my wood lathe. Nice sharp cuts, they stay sharp, and I really like the hex shanks. The matching extension works great with all of the Bormax Bits.
