Because nothing less than perfect will do, Festool's lightweight, naturally anodized aluminum spirit level provides measuring accuracy of +/-1.0 mm and is made to last and last. And in their trade dress blue and green, it looks pretty cool doing it, too. This level features both horizontal and vertical levels with metric on one side and inches on the back. Its surface has a prismatic design for seamless contact with shafts and tubes. Nests perfectly inside a Systainer³ handle, so it's always right at hand.
Pretty slick little gizmo; the fit in the Sys3 handle is perfect (of course it is) and the added weight in the handle means that it snaps fully closed when nudged down which is a fringe benefit if you're used to having to push to snap the handle down for T-lok stacking. Etched gradient markings are going to be nice long term for using as a ruler. I don't love the bubble size to tolerance marking ratio, but I am spoiled by Stabila and this is going to be used for quick level or plumb checking when I haven't thought it necessary to bring a dedicated level. This is the only reason for 4 stars, but that being said I have already found several occasions to use this level and it's only been a few weeks.
Excellent, easy to order and delivered on time. This plywood engraves and cuts very nice. I will be purchasing from KJP again in the near future.
Great purchase, wood smells and looks amazing. Wood purchase again in the future.
Having used typical shop vacs from both Shopvac and Ridgid I could not believe the difference in performance, efficiency, noise level, features and dust extraction capability of the Festool CT MIDI I. After attaching the MIDI to my Milwaukee track saw, I couldn’t see any dust anywhere which was quite a departure from what I have been accustomed to. Yes, the Festool is pricey however if you value your lungs and you insist on highest level of dust extraction capability, then it is worth every single penny spent to buy one.
