We will provide you with a high quality turning blank in the dimensions of your choice. We recommend using Honey Bee's Natural Wood Cream for a long lasting and food safe finish.

We can sometimes accommodate a larger blank than our standard sizes. Please email us for availability and a quote.

Dimensions may vary +/- 1/4" as we often prefer to lightly skip dress the turning blanks to reveal grain & colour.

Heartwood is golden to bright yellow, which almost certainly ages to a darker medium brown with time: primarily due to exposure to UV light. Has a straight to interlocked grain, with a fine to medium texture. Working this wood can be difficult due to its hardness and density, though it is reported to have little dulling effect on cutting edges. It turns well, and also takes stains, glues and finishes well.
