Ebiara is a stunning wood that can range from a golden yellow brown colour to deep reddish brown with dark black streaks or stripes.
Often the wood grain is interlocked so working with hand tools can be difficult while the quartersawn can be downright nasty for tearout. Ebiara turns well and has no issues with gluing or finishing.
You should expect some open tearout so please take careful note of the included pictures for examples.
In order to offer more protective packing for shipping - our lengths are often 1/4" less than sizes listed. Need a wider width or longer length? Please email us for a quote. Custom millwork charges will apply.
We will provide you with a 1/4" thick x 3" wide or 4-3/4" wide x 24" long, high quality thin board! These boards are flat, straight, and ready for sanding.

Excellent blades. No tear out on the bottom when cutting plywood. They hold up very well in many different hardwoods.
