S4S O Canada! Lumber Mix Pack

Maple done 4-ways! As Canadian as it gets!

If you like Maple - this pack is sure to have you covered. Not only do you get our standard Sugar Maple (Hard Maple) board - but we also include three more variations; 2 figured (curly and bird's eye) and 1 naturally occuring from bug damage (Ambrosia).

  • Ambrosia - unique streaking cause by the Ambrosia Beetle - leaves a tiny pin hole
  • Bird's Eye - very distinct "eyes" you can't miss
  • Curly - almost like a striping that reflects in the light
  • Maple - clean and bright white

We will provide you with a 4-3/4" wide, high quality, surfaced (S4S) Ambrosia Maple (x1), Bird's Eye Maple (x1), Curly Maple (x1), and Hard Maple (x1) board in the thickness and length of your choice.

If you would like to do the milling yourself - try our 4/4 Rough Cut O Canada! Lumber Mix Pack for a more budget friendly version.

S4S Lumber

Who are they for? These are ideal for those who aren’t equipped with the necessary tools to flatten and straighten boards.

The term "surfaced" or "dressed" refers to a piece of wood that has been milled. To achieve the necessary dimensions, we select a larger board to work from. Both faces and edges are then surfaced so you can be assured that the board is flat and straight. These boards are available in specific sizes.

For example: 3/4” x 5-1/4” x 24”

Rough Cut Lumber

Who are they for? These are ideal for those who enjoy working with machinery or hand tools to mill their own boards.

We use this term to describe boards that require additional milling. Rough cut lumber have been run through the planer to show the grain however they have not been dressed. You will need to mill both faces and edges. Rough cut lumber are available in specific lengths with varying widths.

For example: 4/4 x (5-6”) x 24”

You will receive a board that is just shy of an inch thick, with a width in the range of 5-6”, and is 24” long.

Beautiful wood and massive timesaver

I’ve said before, these pieces are worth their weight in gold if a guy doesn’t have a planer and jointer. It is beautiful timber, perfect dimensions and you can get on with your project.

Excellent service!

I ordered a box of assorted maple board from KJP as a first time customer, and added a single board of Bolivian rosewood to the order. Everything arrived promptly and well packaged and the maple was very good quality. The rosewood did unfortunately arrive with a fairly substantial split at one end and KJP immediately offered to reimburse me for that piece as they had no other pieces in stock at the time. I was actually blown away by their generosity and service satisfaction mindset. I will absolutely be ordering from them again. Beautiful wood/great service = killer combo

Great Products And Service

I can buy products from KJP because of the quality of the wood and the quick service. It's great to support Canadian businesses. I highly recommend these folks. I used this package to make custom cribbage boards, the wood was great to work with, loved the grain of the wood.
