This material has been "thermotransformed" aka Torriefed or Roasted! Adding this extra kiln drying process changes the wood to a rich dark brown - all the way through!
In this box you will find a random selection of 8/4 (1-3/4" - 2-1/4" thick) pieces of Roasted Vertical Grain Douglas Fir ranging from 4" - 5" wide 11" - 12" long. There will be approximately 26 pounds of material to work with in a 12" H x 12" W x 12" L Box.
