This is excellent quality lumber, you would never think it was rough because it as good as most s4s. Great quality and beautiful wood! I will definitely be buying more from KJP!!
I purchased this wood for my husband for Christmas. We are both delighted with what was received. It was spread all over the table for the first day so we could just admire the beauty and detail of each piece.
This was the third attempt to get item. This was for a custom Christmas present. I ended up driving 200 plus miles round trip to get wood for said product at a cost of several hours and a lumber cost of 47 dollars all because you sent it out usps two times! You guys screwed the pooch after I had an Amazon representative promise it would be delivered by December 20. You were supposed to send it ups but you emailed it usps. We had to get this corrected again. Stop send usps. They are being destroyed by DeJoy. I have a rural address and our postal does not deliver we have a P.O. Box. You guys went to default settings which are different than postal. You guys fucked the pooch an anyone ordering from you should beware
Hi Phillip,
I'm inclined to think we don't suck and you may have your Christmas shopping a bit mixed up? We in fact did ship with UPS and we had your order out within 2 days. It would be highly unlikely that an Amazon rep called you about your KJP order since we have absolutely nothing to do with them - so you'd better check your phone to make sure it's working correctly. I hope you got your present made in time and if you need lumber again - give us another try. I think you'll find we are very good at following instructions :) Happy holidays.

I read several reviews for both planes and finally decided to bite the bullet and purchase the set. I’m glad I did! I’ve been very pleased with the quality of workmanship and the fact that they were ready to use right out of the box.
Xmas gift for my husband. He loved it. Hope he’ll be able to use to make some craft projects.
This wood is so beautiful, I almost don't want to use it
There were 3 rough ones out of 5 this time that I couldn’t use.
I know there are blemishes and pin knots and I can work with those but this batch was not good!!
Easy to order online instead purchasing lumber from Lowes store. One thing surprised me that one board had a nail in it and almost damaged to my planer.
I am still waiting for hardwood to arrive. I can't comment on quality of the hardwood
Hi Garrett,
I just looked at your Tracking and it seems Purolator has had this for a few weeks and are experiencing issues due to holiday volumes and weather issues. If you don't get an update in the next few days we can escalate on your behalf. Thank you.
Good looking pieces, mostly 2x, but a couple beauty big pieces
The wood was fantastic. The project I used it on I gave as Christmas gifts and they loved them. The wood stood out in the project.
It is been 12 days from my order, but I still did not receive my lumber yet.
Hi Rayden,
This holiday season between the Canadian postal strike and all the parcel carriers having volume issues around Black Friday and Christmas - many parcels are taking longer. We apoligize for the delay and hope you may reconsider your Rating score on the actual material when you recieve the lumber. Happy holidays - thanks very much!
The wood was good quality and the service was great. We will be using them again.
Really great quality wood delivered. Despite being “rough” the wood was straight and flat already.
It is what it says it is - 5 pieces of MDF core hardwood plywood. Looking forward to running it through my laser cutter engraver.
These will work great for a bunch of different projects I have in mind.
Full discloser, I am the world's worst lacquer and paint finisher. That being said the Osmo UV-Protection Oil is outstanding as far as application goes. Used a micro-fiber roller and foam brush for application and it went on great with minimal runs and zero streaking. As far as wood color integrity it has been excellent. Hard maple did not yellow out like some protectants tend to do and Brazilian walnut had a nice dark natural color to it. Time will tell on durability but 2 coats on an Adirondack chair seems to do the trick. It is expensive but if the chair survives the summer I will be purchasing a gallon next time around.
