Up until this particular order, I have received excellent wood from KJP. I was very impressed with the quality of the different species of exotic wood I received in the past. However, the maple I received in this order was subpar with large knots that I was unable to work around. I was using the maple on a large serving board and the final product was flawed with too many slightly opened knots. I will continue to buy wood from KJP, because my overall opinion of KJP's products is still very high. Thanks for listening.
We were impressed with the thickness. The adhesive seems to work well. We applied the edgebanding with a household iron. Joints within the roll were hardly noticeable. Would definitely buy again.
I haven't cut into any of it yet but it looks like it will a good looking part of some of my wood craft projects
