Our solid Walnut Floating Shelf comes pre-mounted with the HOVR Floating Shelf Bracket already installed and ready to mount on your wall at home with one easy bracket. Under the right conditions, this floating shelf will hold up to 300lbs and out performs every other fastening system on the market. Simply attach one side of the bracket to your wall, and the rest has been done for you!
Walnut provides an extremely durable, timeless look, but can come in a vast array of colours and hues. While the heartwood is often a rich brown, it can be more red or purple-hued. The sapwood often presents with a pale, cream or gray colour. The variation in colour that naturally occurs creates a distinctly individual look to each and every piece. If you have a preference of what type of hue or colour you’d like your shelves to contain, please reach out via the email below and we will do our best to accommodate your vision. The colour of the wood may darken slightly over time, but it is unlikely to change significantly.
The 6" deep shelf is a singular piece of solid wood while the 8", 10", 12", & 14" shelves will usually be made of a lamination of two pieces of solid wood. This will help to prevent any major wood movement like cupping occuring. Our team works to ensure the lamination process creates a piece that looks as seamless as possible. We work hard to ensure you have a stable, beautiful shelf in your home that will spruce up any wall you choose to hang it on.

- You can either choose from a raw/unfinished wood which you can sand, stain, and finish yourself - or select the shelf sanded & finished with Osmo Polyx-Oil Clear Satin finish for a rich and well protected look that showcases the natural beauty of the wood.

These shelves are made on demand by our custom shop. Please allow 3-4 weeks for Raw/Unfinished shelves and 5-6 weeks for Sanded/Finished shelves.
